Membership

Membership in the SRCA is divided into two categories: Active and Supporting. It is open to any individual, group, or organization regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, or age interested in the mission, purpose, and objectives of the association.

Active members are those involved in the day-to-day activities of the Association and are entitled to a vote at general meetings.

The Active Member classifications are as follows:

• CRAFTS ARTIST: A professional artist who demonstrates a respect for quality techniques and design in his or her chosen craft. Participation is subject to proper application procedure.
  


• STUDENT: A full- or part-time student pursuing a craft studio major or an apprentice/intern working in a craft artist's studio.
  


• ASSOCIATE: An indiviual associated with crafts in some way other than by its production, or an artist who has not fulfilled the requirements for Craft Artist membership.
  


• HONORARY: An individual who has made significant contributions to the Association or to crafts.
